Question about 2004 Dodge Durango
I've lost the over drive... and have to start out in the low gears and then manually shift it up to drive... it feels like it's on the lower range.. My Durango is a 2000 California Concepts with the lifts and extra gizmos... I have replaced the transmission after about a 110 thousand miles 3 years ago... and now this...?
Before i can help you on this problem, i need to know a few things. is there a check engine light on when this issue occured? i wont give you a 100 percent answer on this issue, but it would pay you to have the output speed sensor checked. almost sounds like your vehicle is going into what chrysler calls "limp in " mode.its well worth the try , and very inexpensive for this part... good luck, hope that helped you
