My susuki grand vataris traction control does not work

double posted, and again no facts:
what country; better say what city, or state road conditions.?
pavement? ice, snow, ? or only wet pavement.?
In 4wd ? 4H or 4L mode. (never do this on only wet pavement) RTM
is the ESP switch on , or off.?
do tell at watch speed this slides happen 5mph or 100mph on ice.
road conditions, and exactly how it slides.?
eg: im on ice, im in a turn at 45mph in 4H , ESP switch on,
and car slides and the ESP light did not flash. (warning me.)

The ESP is not magic, it cant save , extreme drivers.
say going 100mph in to an iced turn
sure it will try but will fail.
it can brake you
it can shift gears, and cut the throttle (TBW)
it can do lots, but is not magic, it has limits,

what makes you think it does not work.// elaborate fully.?????

J started my 87 jjamboree with a battery from my van, then while my tv was running I disconnected my battery and proceeded to returnit to my van. The tv stalled and now it dosent matter what battery , no...

Before u get the answer. How did u hook the battery up. ? Positive to positive. Neg to neg. If u did. Thats ur issue. U made a 12 volt car in to 24 volt. And u fried your computer. If u hooked the van battery positive to positive and van battery neg to dead car frame. Which you should have done. My guess is you blow a fuse. One of the big ones. But from your notes of nothing works no matter how or what battery u use. U fried the vehicle computer and if the paint and body and drive train are in awesome shape id say go buy a new computer and go from there if the car needs more money to get on the road thsn a yrs worth of fuel id say scrap it get a bus pass or drive the van. But just dont offer kids candy at schools vans are so old school .... Good luck

My hub is having problems with rust on the van doors and the undersides. He's been told by three different repair guys that this van really wasn't made for cold weather states. Is this a common problem?Has...

Any car that is around cold weather is really not the problem, it's the salt and sand that they put on roads during ice storms. This stuff will eat a car up. It's the same way around real salty beaches. Not saying cold isn't a factor but these others are the worst factors.

I have a 1984 ford e van, 351, 4 barrel, i can leave it in the laneway running and wont stall, when i take it on the road, the van loses power, then stalls, and the battery is dead, i unhooked the battery...

sounds like you have a fule pump fault,,,the battery fault is strange??
unless the pump has a short on it, draining the battery,,,
the alternator will very soon pack up if you keep running it without the battery hooked up

Hallo, we recently flushed our Automatic Transmission fluid on our 97' Volvo S70 T5 now the car wont start? Before we flushed the AT fluid the car started. Now nothing. What could be the problem?

Flushing the trans had little to do with your car starting ...

In the same manner one might say ice cream causes drowning ... because as the sale of ice cream goes up ... so too does the incidence of drowning ... so ice cream causes drowning ... right?

No ... people swim AND buy ice cream when it it hot ... no other relationship.

I might be wrong on this ... but I don't think so ... check your battery, your start solenoid ... your battery ground.

2003 Pontiac Montana antifreeze smell?

Bad News. I recently had the same type of smell ( no leaks or puddles either) coming from my van and had to have the intake manifold gasket replaced due to the Dex-cool issue. It appears GM installed an inadequate/substandard gasket when they built the van. My van only had 65,000 miles on it. There's a Dex-cool settlement you could have applied for but repairs had to be made by May of 2008.

This is the only real complaint I've had with the van.
