The active aero system works the front and the rear at the same time,it goes thru the switch at the center console-if the front does not work, the rear will not work also even if you replace the limiter switches on the rear wing, the rear wing has to be timed to the wing motor to work also-it is pretty hard if you dont know how to do it-good luck

1988 Cadillac Deville. ELC light stays on in dash and drains battery

The light is on because the system fuse was removed, this causes the control module to see a fault. either fix the system or pull the dash and remove the warning bulb.

I lost my key

No you will need the dealer to assist on this. Very expensive to fix without a working key.

Need the loging code for 2000 vw beetle 2,0.I lost my keys car but a need a code for get ones

You will have to go to the dealer to get new keys and remotes with the microchip and have it programmed and cut there. VW keys are as you know not like typical auto keys that have teeth and as such they have to be cut with special equipment. Your car will also have an immobilizer that requires a code from the microchip in the key or a key fob remote to disable the immobilizer and this is something that has to be done at the dealership as there are very few locksmiths that handle this. Rough cost estimate is $300 per key with remote and work done.

sounds to me like there is a short in the heater control switch, i would reccomend going to an auto parts store and having them put it on a computer when the light is on.

1999 Dodge Gr. Caravan downshifts in D. Works fine in D3

Perhaps I'm crazy, but when I ran a shop, the vehicle did not go home 'till the problem was solved and I never charged for items that did not fix the vehicle...( I had the silly idea that the customer should not pay for my mistakes .therefore in my world they already have abdicated.)
The problem may be beyond the skill level of anyone in the shop...therefore doing the same thing over and over will give you the same results. You need a fresh "eye" on the situation. Only then will you get a different result. There are "flight tests" and other diagnostics that can be done that should give you an idea what is going on.
If the repair is going to cost more than what the vehicles value is, then it's your decision about what to do. You can have the repair done, buy a different car and/or you may have some legal means of recovering all or part of what you spent not fixing the problem. These are decisions you need to make, but decide after you have the facts in front of you.
