Question about 1999 Chrysler Sebring
I have a 99 Chrysler Sebring Convertible and for the last couple of months it will die while I am driving down the highway and won't start back up until it sits a minute. A friend of mine said it sounds like the fuel filter clogged but I am not sure. Can you please help?
HI. this is a fuel filter issue. would have it replaced asap if possible. you should also, purchase a fuel additive to flush out the fuel injectors and fuel lines as well. Sea foam is a very good fuel system additive.
Due to the fact that this car is a 1999 model, i would change the fuel pump as well. this is good preventive maintenance.
One more thing, if you have not had a full scale tune up recently or, in the last 10,000 miles, i suggest scheduling one soon.
