Then power is not reaching the motor ie bad connection past relay or the motor is toast, worn so badly theirs no connection through brushes. Some times just dirty or carbon build up. Low voltage is usually the culprit, running accessories like these without the engine running or with a weak battery can result in excessive heat and arcing can occur causing carbon deposits making contact impossible. Sometime slamming the door will instigate contact and it will run for a bit but the damage is done and repairs from cleaning to replacing are in order.

Rear heater and rear window break light not working

Is this a hatchback? check the wiring, where it goes from the tailgate to the vehicle body, passed experience, continual opening and closing the tailgate causes the wiring to flex and break. The wiring is usually in a rubber sleeve.

Driver's rear window froze in down position, & Passenger's rear window froze in the closed position after spilling a Super Grande Diet Fountain Drink! I removed, cleaned, and reinstalled the switches, &,...

I fix things like that alot. Usually the wires passing through the hinge have been folded back and forth too many times and one or more wires broke. You can close the window using a 12 volt battery alligator clipped to the motor if needed. Reverse the polarity to open the window.

2001 Pontiac Montana rear power windows opened and now they are both not closeing. There is no fuse and I can't close my windows. Please help me.

Power for the rear quarter windows passes through the 10A PWR QTR VENT fuse in the fuse block. 12V is applied to the rearquarter window switch which controls the open and close operation of the windows. If the fuse checks OK, the window actuators and motors are all that's left

Battery seems fine good lights on dash when turned on but will not turn engine over it won`t even try

There are several possibilities for you to investigate. When the key is in the start position do you should hear a click from the starter solonoid? If so then you know that power is getting to the starter solonoid which eliminates a bad ignition switch. In that case you may have a bad starter. If you hear no click then you must get a test light and use it to see if power is getting to the starter solonoid. Ground the light and place the tip on the energizer wire to the solonoid. When an assistant turns the key to the start position the test light should light. This tells you power is where it should be and the solonoid is not working. If there is no power there then you must suspect a bad ignition switch or a bad wire in between the switch and the starter. Hope this helps.

My power window to my toyota tundra (2002)passenger window does not move up/down. Press switch, and no sound, no movement. what can I do to restore power?

try using the window switch on the pass side and drivers side. is the master turned on to allow the pass switch on? try closing the pass door while holding the switch in the DOWN position, sometimes this will jar the window loose. If you watch the dome light real closely while pushing the window switch down, it should dim slightly, it it does dim, then the switch is working.

Put in a new starter and all you get is a clicking sound and wont start why wont it start what did i do wrong

Providing the battery is fully charged, and the cables are tight and clean, you may have the wires on wrong. They may be grounding against the block, or on backwards. If that all checks out, maybe you got a dud starter.
