My 2002 Saturn sc1 is blowing cold air and no heat.?

Hello. If change the tempature setting from hot to cold dose it click. If so you need to replace the blender door motor. If not they you need a heater core and if it's the heater core you should smell anti-freeze inside the car.

My gmc yukon 2000 slt rear ac blows hot air when i have ac . on and the front works fine .

I have a 2000 GMC Savana Van SLT with front and rear AC/Heat. My front would blow hot while the rear blew cold with AC on. It turned out to be low on Freon. It's hard to know if you have the right amount of freon installed because pressures vary depending on the ambient temperatures. So the best way is to remove all the freon then reinstall the recommended amount as listed on the evaporator housing near the firewall. This worked fine for me... works like new after installing the correct amount of freon.

No heat but blows cold air

First, amke sure your air cinditioner is on the off position, Next, check your resovoir for your anti-freeze..coolant level, last thing I can thing of is it could be your heat exchanger.

Thanks, Terry

Heater blowing cold air, 4 babies really need heat....

Your heater core could be blocked. Check the hoses going to it on the inside of the engine compartment. There will be 2 5/8' heater hoses going into firewall adjacent to one another. The tempature of these hoses should be almost the same after your van has reached normal operating tempature and your temp select switch is on hot(heat). If not it's a good idication your heater core may have some blockage in it. You would then have to flush it out or replace it. Hope that helps.

Back air blows cold air, the front blows warmer air

I recenly had the same problem on my 1999 suburban, even after I replaced the whole ac system.
The heater valve, which is under the air filter area was not closing, causing heat to be blowing over the evaporator core. I used a zip tie to keep it in the closed position, and ac went from 70 degrees to 40. I think the vacuum switch is bad, 40 dollars (dealer part). You can also pull the vacuum hose off the switch, which is on the firewall and connect it dirctly to valve and it closes the valve, but fits loosley. Use silicone around vac hose if you go this route.

Only hot air blows out vent when switch is in cold or blue area even when ac is on

Could also be that you are out of Freon, Compress may have a leak. Try it on cold setting in the early morning if its not even cool and heats up fast then Rob is correct. ITs a damper/ temp problem which is eternal. You can tear apart you dash and check on the damper (looks like a doggie door) make sure nothing is in the way and the hinger isnt broken.....I hope you can fix it yourself..

200 gmc jimmy st heater

Had similar problem in my 2000 Jimmy. No hot air from heater. Had the shop (Midas) disconnect heater hoses at the fire wall and blow out the heater core with air hose. Got rust and junk blown out. Hooked up and flushed system with new anti freeze. Got lots of heat now.

2006 Chevy Equinox A/C freezes up and stops blowing cold air...Has been to the shop 3 times twice they evacuated and recharged the freon. Last time they recalibrated the BCM and did the freon again. Still...

Actually there is a evaporator tempature sensor that has gone bad that is causing it to freeze up like that because it cycles the compressor on and off to prevent this freezup and vwhen the sensor goes badf the compressor will continuasly run all the time. $4e0.00 part.

The clutch in compressor is controlled by a pressure switch. Start there.
