Blew an oil line while driving. replaced it, added oil. car started right up prob is auto trans would not engage in any gear. no previous problem. does low oil press affect the trans??

Blew an oil cooler line or a transmission cooler line? Low transmission fluid would keep it from moving. Trying to drive it to long with transmission fluid about empty, would burn up the transmission. Oil pressure won't affect the transmission.

Check your trans fluid level (car must be running to perform this properly). If it is low, there may be a leak, check the transmission oil lines on the radiator for leaks. If ok, try flushing then replacing the transmission oil and filter. Its not guaranteed to work!! Over heating does damage the transmission. Reason is, your trans oil runs through the radiator to keep it at a controlled temperature. When the engine overheats, the radiator becomes extremely hot which in turn heats up the transmission oil instead of cooling it. This may or may not cause severe damage!!

I have a ticking in my motor what could this be. it ticks louder in drive

Check your oil and your transmission fluid. You may be low on fluid. The engine ticks when it is low on oil or damage has occured.

What transmission fluid is best in my "standard

Synthetic 80/90 hypoid works great for freezing/cold climate driving. You may notice it is harder to push the transmission into gear. some times the syncros slip more with synthetic oil slowing down the gear speed/mesh action (a slower-harder shift). If you notice this after the oil change, and do not like the synthetic, it is not that expensive to change it back. If you do a lot of driving below 30 degrees or especially below 0 degrees you may want to try synthetic hypoid. it makes driving in cold weather a breeze (no holding in the clutch for five minutes while the motor warms up).

My ninja wont start

bang bang bang is ok. bada bing bada bing is not. you've got the 3bang problem. 3 bangs means the transmission and output shaft is locked. It will act like the motor is locked but it isn't. The tail isn't wagging the dog. The transmission is locked and the motor won't start, because of the 3 bang problem.
