Fuel pump replacement. You may be able to just replace the fuel level sender. There was a recall on the fuel pump relay.

2003 Audi A6 temp goes to 120 overheats then down to 90 and oil symbols comes also

I would check the thermostat first. Remove the thermostat and place it in a pan of water on the stove. Place a thermometer in the water with the thermostat and slowly increase the temperature until you have reached 194 degrees Fahrenheit or 90 degrees Celsius. Watch closely for the thermostat to open slightly. If it opens then the thermostat is good. If it does not open, replace it. Try that first and see what you come up with.

Looking for an assembly diagram for a thermostat for a 1999 for taurus 3.0 SOHC. Or assembly order of gasket, before the thermostat or after it? Also, could lack of heat in car be due to something other...

Thermostat and then gasket. As far as your heat problem goes I would guess heater core, maybe partial blockage. 90% of the time heater core is the problem with no heat. The other thing it might be, but only if the engine itself isnt getting all the way hot, would be your temperature sending unit. That controls when your thermostat opens and closes.

Can't find thermostat location on 1988 Audi 90.

Hi Lol,
I'm not an Audi specialist however if you follow the top hose from the radiator to the engine block the thermostat housing on most engines is at the end, it may have 2 nuts or bolts securing it.
I hope you are now sorted if not please come back to me and I'll try to get my head under the bonnet/hood of a 90 to find what you seek.
Please remember to rate my efforts,
