Blue Smoke: Blue smoke is caused by engine oil entering the cylinder area and being burned along with the fuel air mixture. As with the white smoke, just a small drop of oil leaking into the cylinder can produce blue smoke out the tailpipe. Blue smoke is more likely in older or higher mileage vehicles than newer cars with fewer miles.
How did the engine oil get inside the cylinder in the first place? The car has many seals, gaskets, and O-rings that are designed to keep the engine oil from entering the cylinder, and one of them has failed. If too much oil leaks into the cylinder and fouls the spark plug, it will cause a misfire (engine miss) in that cylinder, and the spark plug will have to be replaced or cleaned of the oil. Using thicker weight engine oil or an oil additive designed to reduce oil leaks might help reduce the amount of oil leaking into the cylinder. I that doesn't work then i would get with a mechanic and have it leak tested for possible piston ring replacement.

What cause white smoke coming out of exhause pipe

White smoke from the tail pipe is moisture/water turned to steam. It comes from the air drawn into the engine and/or coolant in the engine. If you see excessive white smoke and your coolant level is dropping, you are most likely steaming coolant.Oil burning usually comes out as blue smoke.

BLACK SMOKE AND MY TAIL PIPE IT IS MIXED WITH OIL

If you are adding oil to the engine I would say the rings or valve guides are worn out. Could also be a problem with the PCV valve.
Black smoke is usually too much fuel, blue smoke is usually burning oil.

I have true duels on my 1986 chevy pickup. It has a 305 motor. It only smokes on the passenger side of the tail pipe blue smoke only when the motoor gets hot. If im going down the road it stops. When I...

Bad news. Depending on what your mileage is, you can have a burnt valve, sticking lifter, bad piston ring all on the right side of the engine. The blue smoke is burning oil. Oil from the crank case is being compressed up into the cylinder and being burned. You will have to get a compression check on that side of the engine. You check the compression one sparkplug at a time while the engine idles. A loss in compression will tell you what cylinder is failing.

Good luck and thanks for your question and I hope my suggestions help. burdfrenzy

Constant smoke from tail pipe.

If its smoking that bad you should be able to tell if its oil or antifreeze by the smell, stand behind the car as its running, if its white and you smell a sweet smell its antifreeze if its blue and smells like a oil refinery its oil.

Blue smoke from tail pipe 98 neon no leaks i can see

It sounds like you could need some new piston rings. when they go bad it causes oil to get by into the combustion chamber and burn when the engine fires.
