Question about Toyota Corolla
The belt is not adjusted correctly - that is assuming that the correct belt has been installed for your vehicle. If you'r esure it has, then the belt needs to be adjusted tighter onto the pulleys. It's not hard to do, and if your alternator wasn't tightened all the way, it may have loosened during driving. Have this checked and it should be fine. I've had this same thing happen a few times over my 46 years of life.
