86 626 speedo & tach lights not working!!!?

In most cases if you are getting power and no fuses or bulbs are bad,it very well could be the cluster has gone bad...This is not common but it does happen....I have replaced them in cars in the past and corrected the same problem..Should check local junk yards for the part and save some money that way...hope this helps and Please rate this post and good luck..

Odometer stopped working

IF YOUR SPEEDO IS WORKING THEN YOUR VSS IS OKAY, BAD VSS WILL STOP SPEEDO AND USALLY CAUSE HARD SHIFTING. NORMALLY ODO IS CONTROLLED BY SERVO MOTOR WHICH MAY HAVE WENT OUT. CHECK EBAY FOR REPAIR SERVICES OR SIMPLY GET A SALVAGE CLUSTER AND HAVE MILEAGE RESET

The oddometer works but the speedometer doesn't in my 1992 Dodge Ram pickup. The gear that sits inside the transmission is not stripped and engages fine. Can the problem be somewhere other than the...

Could be a bad cluster. If one is cable driven, and the other electric. You could have a bad speed sensor in the transmission which will make the speedo not work.

1989 Honda Accord speedometer not working. What is a speedo head?

The speedo head or cluster is the part that houses the speedometer and tach, etc. now it may be the speedo cable that comes from the transmission to the speedo head that has broken. If so replace the cable and your back in business. If it is the head you can get them from your local recycle yard.
