Motors need 4 things to ignite..

air, fuel, spark,oil...sounds like an issue with either your fuel injection system or the ignition system.

Your best bet is to unhook neg battery cable for 10 min then re-connect and try again if you are sure your getting spark and fuel you may have flooded it trying to get past the safe fail shut down relay so then you will need to hold WOT wide open throttle while cranking engine over that will kill out injector signal allowing cyls to dry out crank with WOT for a good min or so to fully dry.

It is possible that there is a safety shutoff which would shut the engine down in the event that the computer saw a loss of oil pressure. Tightening the filter and adding the correct amount of oil should correct the problem after several seconds of cranking to restore oil pressure throughout the engine. There may however be a fault code stored in the computer which will need to be reset before the engine can be started again. Sometimes a professional grade scanner is needed to scan the vehicle and reset the codes. Cheaper code readers don't always show everything. If the vehicle has any sort of variable valve timing, it will most likely be controlled by oil pressure and there will be several sensors which can be confused and may cause a no start symptom. In most cases, an engine can run without oil for about 5-10 seconds before damage starts to occur. Spark and fuel present while cranking should definitely allow the engine to start unless there is a major timing issue which would be controlled by the computer. Make sure the cam and crank sensors are in sync with each other.

SOURCE: Oil Pressure light comes on....

The oil light should come on when the car stalls, this is normal. The stalling isn't, do u have a warranty thru the dealer u purchased it from? Most have at least a 30 day warranty. A 2004 should have included some type of warranty. U should bring it back, and they should correct the problem at no charge if u recently purchased it, and there is some sort of guarantee. Let me know if there is.

first thing you got to do is determen weather its electrical or fuel problem, you can take a test light and hook to a ground and the light end to a spark plug and see if it lights while someone turns over engine, if it lights you got spark. if its got spark, on to fuel, take fuel pressure test, don't think because you can hear pump working does not mean it is, it can sound like it is but its not, at least putting out enought pressure, not the correct amount it will not run. pumps will go out just that way with no warning at all.

SOURCE: engine error lite P0465

Replacing the EGR valve, its actuator, or your DPFE sensor could all be at fault. I would probably start with the valve itself since it's an EGR leak code. Your gas cap was a wasted repair. The gas cap would cause a P0441 or 445 evap code, but not an EGR code.

to answer fully.,
my guess, is the engine leaks oil and you have tried fix it
odd, you did the hard ones first. why not the valve cover
did you know there are 2 ways to find leaks.
1: clean it , all off, then run it and look. see live leak.
best is to do that with out driving as the wind blows it about.
find it , now you know what leaking.
2: use the UV dye kit.
quote wiki, but WHAT ENGINE ?????????????????
all base models were made with 1.6L engines. The EX-CX are all SOHC (Honda D engine). The CX, DX, and LX all have D16y7 non-VTEC engines; whereas the EX has a D16y8 VTEC, and the HX has D16y5 VTEC-E. The USDM Si and Canadian SiR came with a DOHC (B16A2 VTEC).

first tell engine, ! DOHC is quite different.

Hello. I have 1997 Chrysler Sebring Lx (2.0 Liter, automatic engine). This morning I found out that there was oil leaking from the driver side bottom. I looked at the bottom of my car, and it was all...

Power steering fluid wouldn't cause that, try the transmission fluid level. That's likely where the fluid is coming from if the car won't move and leaking transmission fluid to the point that your car won't move is probably not an easy or inexpensive fix.

One of my gaskets is broken and I'm leaking oil its not the valve cover or head or oil pan which other gasket is there?

Well there is the intake. And if your running your car with a bad PCV valve you will have pressure building up and oil will spray making it look like its coming from somewhere else rather than the Valve covers. I would replace the PCV valve first and power wash the engine and replace the valve cover gaskets.
Please leave a good feedback on here for me.

99 mazda 626 lx -i have a slow oil leak. only leaks when i drive.

It sounds like it's actually burning the oil, rather than leaking it then, I'm assuming that your usage is a lot more than the drop you mention. The entire car has 234k on it? (or did you mean just the trans?) With that many miles I wouldnt be surprised if your valves are letting a little oil slip into the combustion chamber. If the usage is bad enough, it may be time for a valve job, or even a rebuild.

Oil consumption, rattle, engine noise

Check under the hood and inspect the valve cover gasket. If it's bad it would explain why you don't see any leaks on the ground because it's probably burning off on the manifold. This ticking you're hearing is a lack of lubrication to the rocker arms. Apart from the valve cover gasket, you should get under the car and inspect the oil pan and oil filter for seepage. Best of luck on your problem.
