On the side of the tire you will see a tire size, it should read something like this 175 55 R15 ms or something like that, look at all the tire sides, all or them if they are the same should have the R then a number like 15 or 16 or 17 etc. that is the rim size, look at the first number and the last one, cause the first will tell you the height, a 165, 155,175,etc. all the numbes on all the tires should be the same unless you have preformance tires on it then the front will be smaller then the back tires.... hope this helps you out.....

Bent rims maybe or tires. I had a similar problem with two of my cars. One of them it was the tires, figured that one out when I sold the car & put the Original ones on. A second time I balanced my wheels & found out the rim was bent. By the way, some radials can not be rotated cross-wise just front to back on the same side. Hope this helped.

Wheel shakes with balanced tires

Recently ballanced ? If they are steal rims they could be one bent if you have your tires rotated and its not as bad then thats it if it shakes at high speeds like freeway speeds then your car may need alignment and all the joints in the front end replaced along with the wheel bearings too

Replaced front drivers tire, rotated tires. The car starts shking at 30 miles an hour. What do I need to do?

Rotated and changed tire????changed tires then rotated? well see if this helps.....Check If the Manufacturer Specs on your driver side door. Make sure you have the right tire size and tire pressure. Inspect tires for lumps or uneven wear. NEXT check for a bent or warped rim, Missing weights if they have been balanced(balance if not already done) IF shaking happens in acceleration continue checking if the tires you kept are not worn out on the inside or if your wheel bearings are worn out. (If it happens when braking check your rotors) hopefully its not a bigger deal.

Question on rims on a 1988 IrocZ28. the front rims have a stamp on them indicating 'front' and the back rims 'rear'. the tire size that came on the car when I bought it are P245/50/R16 (96T-mts). Im pretty...

Those wheels are what is referred to as "staggered" meaning different sizes front and rear. If you measure the width of the wheels the rear ones will be wider. I'm not sure what size you are supposed to be using but the rears should be wider. This kind of setup is not designed to be rotated. You could rotate side to side but this won't even your wear out.

I would guess incorrectly tightened or installed wheel bearing. Or it might just need to get greaced.
