Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
When i hook the brake wire onto the foot pedal the brake will set but when i go to release the brake the wire comes off the pedal and the brake stays on.. then i have to get under the truck and beat on the cable and it releases.. what do i need to do to get this thing working right so it will pass inspection.. thanks
You need a new emergency brake cable, the cable sounds like it has a kink in it, get teh new cable run it where the old one is and that should fix your problem.... hope this helps you....
