Question about Toyota Camry

No spark on my toyota camry. Changed coil pack and distributor cap and rotor. Still no spark any help would be appreciated greatly...

What about wires pull the wires from the plug and make sure u got fire u need to see where ur loosing ur fire if u got it there pull from other end make sure u got fire off of coli pack its either or

I changed the plugs and wires on a 97 toyota 4 runner. if i put the wrong plug into the wrong coil pack or opposite would that ruin them?


I am confused. Does it have a distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires, or does it have coil packs sitting on top of spark plugs?

I have a 1989 toyota corolla that was running fine, then it died and will turn over but will not start, I have replaced fuel pump , distributor cap, The Timing belt is in great shape and is tight.. and...


check to see if u have fuel going to injectors or fire to spark plug if there is no fire coming out of distributor replace pickup coil inside distributor

No spark, 1988 Toyota Camry 3SFE 4cyl, 5 speed.


there is no crank sensor on this vehicles 2.0L. If you have power to the coil, new coil, cap and rotor try this if not done yet>>>Unplug coil power first....Try pulling off the distributor cap, and make sure the rotor is spinning with the cam...If this fails to spin, inspect the entire distributor assembly. If it passes, Inspect all the power circuit and wiring to the dist assembly, if ok possible ecu. i recommend having a mechanic check it out!! Hopefully this helps...please rate...thanks

The coil is under the distributor cap.
Replace the coil, I'll bet that it is bad.
This is a very common failure item on that particular engine.

ingition modual inside the distriuteor,then the coil,then if that does do it check your power wire from the battery

Replace the coil. It is shorted out. I have changed quite a few coils for the exact same symptom.
