1999 ford explorer power window only goes down about an inch and stops but it will go back up. What is the most likely cause of this?

The window scissor track probably just needs to be cleaned and lubricated. The motor automatically shuts off if the current gets to high. This is usually caused by a sticky track.

One window goes down but not back up

That calls for a new switch on that door. If the driver's switch works the rear window, that indicates the wiring is in order and the window motor is fine. The rear door's window switch must be defective.

Automatic windows will not go back up when door is closed

After the loss of power - dead battery - you need to put the windows down and hld the swithch for 5 secs, then put them back up and hold the switch for 5 secs, they will have retrained themselves.

2002 Nissan Altima windows roll down by themselves w/no key in

You need a body control computer, which controls the windows, door locks and other items. The new computer will have to be programed by a good imports shop or Nissan dealer.
