SOURCE: diesal engin will not start without eather

check the glow plugs circuit to ensure that the pre-combustion chambers are being suficiently heated. also fuel cetane rating must be high enough for cold weather starting. diesel will gel when cold if the cetane rating is low non winter diesel that is. A good fuel stabilizer could help. hope this helps

What do you do if you put bio diesal in a 2015 versa

if the engine is a petrol engine , you drain the tank and refill with petrol, you may have to bleed the fuel rail but basically it will run a bit rough to start with until all the diesel is flushed from the system then it will settle down
if it is a diesel engine and it is not performing on the bio diesel mix, drain the tank and replace the filter and refill with regular diesel
it may be a bit rough until the system is flushed
If it runs good just use the tank then refill with regular diesel

G'day got a 2009 ford ranger xlt diesal ute ran out of diesal what do these need bleeding or will it eventually start

Sometimes there is a bleed bulb/ pump near the injectors on some Diesel engines.this should be easy to see from the engine bay otherwise you will need to keep turning it over to force fuel up the line.

When i start up my bmw540 from cold it sounds like a diesal than a petrol engine noise decreases as engine gets warmer ps.oil not been changed for sometime

I would make sure engine oil is change AT LEAST every 3,000 miles with filter. Check engine oil level, or you may drop a rod. It should not sound like a diesel.

I have just bought a 2003 2.7 CRD Diesel. Could you advise on where I could get an ownwers handbook that would have come with the car when new. Thank you.

Have you tried calling a local Junk/Auto Salvage Yard to see if they have 2003 2.7 Diesal there and if there is a owners manual / owners handbook in it that you could purchase? Many of these places will simple give you these manuals/handbooks free. The hardest part is finding a place that has your make, model and engine size and type (diesal). This way also you have a place you know you can get spare parts if needed.

How much oil does my tacoma 3l turbo diesal take

the best type of oil for a diesel engine is mobil 1 , and it should be at least 10w40 if not 20w50, I'd call a dealer and ask about the weight. They can also tell you how much oil it will hold, or you can just add one quart at a time until you get it full on the dip stick, I'd say no more that 4-6 quarts total, but I do know that diesel's usually take alittle more that a standard gas engine.
