The check trans light blinking on the dash after i start engine, what are the possible causes of that

you will have to have the fault codes read to find the possible reasons for the problem
If it keeps stopping the engine then it is serious and has to be attended to before major damage is done

Almost sounds like something is clogged up possibly catalytic converter.. Take to a well known shop for further testing, I would not drive it with blinking engine light just my thought.
Good luck.

Engine light blinking with bell sound

Hi Edwin, I'm glad to help! Edwin it sounds like the vehicle may have gone into theft alarm mode. If the car doesn't start, Then that is your problem. You might try turning the key in the trunk lock to see if it goes off, if it doesn't try the key in another lock cylinder. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Edwin.

I have Acura 2003 3.2 TL, its Malfunction indicator light is blinking... suddenly stopped on way and when restarted... it started...possible causes?

Blinking check engine lights usually indicate the problem is severe enough that it could be doing damage to the catalytic converter. Typically engine misfires will cause this to happen. Check to see what codes caused the light to come on. Post them here and I'll be happy to help you further

Transmission light blinks numerous times then stays on and when accelerating engine sounds like it will cut off. I just bought this vehicle used. It sputters like it might have bad gas but it doesn't...

The blinking transmission light is trying to tell you there is a fault in your transmission control system. If the check engine light is on, there may be engine problems causing the transmission problems. The first thing that should be done is to scan your computer network for possible fault codes.

I have a Mazda 2001 MPV, just had service for o2 sensor and now the check engine light is blinking .

blinking light means engine is misfiring. continuing to drive will severely damage the engine. The O2 should not be related to your engine misfiring

this problem is caused by a faulty alternator and or the alternator connector has been overheated from running with a low battery, how do i know this, 20 years as a Ford dealer Technician almost solely doing electrical work, saw this blinking light issue many times.
