Ford expedtion makeing loud dryer noise

Hard to discern what you mean by dryer noise since you didn't say if it was coming from the engine, exhaust, inside or outside the vehicle. But I'm going to put my experience on a clogged catalytic converter. The pressure in the exhaust will back up into the engine and cause a very annoying wind noise. Like the sound of air from a high pressure tank being released. You local muffler shop will usually do a temperature check on the cats for a low fee or even free.

2011 center dash noise at 70mph

Abnormal noise at speed are ususally related to wind noises over outside trim pieces, the plastic trim at bottom of the windshield is notorious for noise but I have not had issues there since about 2005'
I did have an interior dash noise at the gauge console, the dealer did not believe me until they drove it with me in the car, then they discoverd that it was never lined up properly.
I highly recommend bringing the car in to the dealer and have the mechanic go for a ride with you so he can listen with you,

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty. At different speeds (sometimes around 75 or 80 m[ph sometimes between 50 and 55 mph) there is a noise sort of a low whistle. It is not a constant problem and I think the air...

It might just be wind. Make sure its something outside and not in the engine bay. Try your best to listen and see if you can pinpoint it. But it might just be wind on something, most likely the weather stripping on the outside. If everything is functioning properly, you should be good.

At high speeds, I here a high pitched squeal coming from the passenger side dashboard. Its like the wind is reflrcting off something and it makes this annoying sound. Can you help me figure this out.

I'd check the passenger side mirror first, make sure it is tight to the window frame, no gaps. It causes a wind noise or whistle. It could be from the outside of the truck, try to pin point. Does noise go away with either window down? Does noise get louder turning in one direction (wheel bearing)? Does it get worse then seem better (could be tire noise)? Eliminate fan motor, and radio. Does it get worse with vehicle speed or just engine speed?

1997 Lincoln Towncar noise in dashboard

Is the noise coming from wiper area when you are driving on the highway? If it is the most likley solution is to replace the plastic peice at the bottom of the windshield that goes all the way across, on the outside between windshield and hood. when the wind hits it it makes noise.
