SOURCE: Air conditioning needs recharged

First, you have to locate the thicker line in the compressor, then follow up until you find the valve to recharge the system, usually is located near by the accumulator bottle.

SOURCE: where is the air conditioning unit located? How

The a/c system is under the hood and in passenger compartment. I do not mean to sound arrogant but if you do not know what the A/c system looks like then you probably should not try charging system. too much refrigerant in system and BOOM lines can blow off and someone can get hurt., if you charge improperly and liquid freon gets to compressor the your compressor locks up. so trying to save a little money could cost a lot more in the end

The port in the larger of the 2 AC lines from the compressor is the port you charge at.

The fitting is usually on the compressor or one of the metal lines going to the condenser.

Where is the low side pressure fitting for the ac

follow the thicker pipes vs. the thinner pipes to find the low pressure side fitting. It might have a blue or black screw on plastic protective cap with an o-ring.

The charge kit will have a tube that has an end that fits only the low side quick connect pressure fitting.

Good luck getting colder air conditioning!

Where do I charge 2002 oldsmobile intrigue air- conditioning

The low side is a fitting on the firewall, the high side between the air cleaner and the ABS unit. You need r134a fittings for your charging hose.

Would like to recharge my air conditioning on my 2001 nissian maxima that has 117,000 on it blows hot air when air conditioning is turned on.

You will need R134a, and a filler hose. Charge the system on the low pressure side, it should have a blue cap on the charge point.
Your filler hose will only fit the low pressure side, just in case the cap has been removed.

Cant find the low pressure port to charge a/c on 2000 olds alero

It should be near the compressor on the low side line. It is a huge pain to get to. Feel along the line, and you should come to the fitting.

Which line to put 134A in for air condition?

they are two fitting depending what year this car is? this car should have one red cap ( small port) blue cap ( big port ) you will want to use the big port. if the vehicle came from the factory with r134a in it then the hose will only hook up to the charge port so you cant really go wrong there. just dont over charge the system and check for leaks after your done
