Question about 1992 Ford Mustang
Recently when I start my 92 mustang its been stalling and runnin rough. When it first starts I have to keep on the gas for it to stay running, and when I let go it runs rough and shuts down. Its always been a great running car. I think it could have something to do with a fuel problem or something. What can I check, or have check? and what do you think i should do?
Turn on key(do not start),
if the pump is running listen for spraying sound(more evedent when fuel is low), if loud spraying sound ,there is a 1 1/2" length of hose between fuel pump and pipe inside tank that may have split ,hence pumping fuel back in tank and little to no pressure to injectors.
i believe this is caused by fuel additives eating the rubber
