stay away from the front drive continental, the seat is the least of the problems on those cars. they have bad air ride suspension systems, and weak transmissions DO NOT BUY IT buy a towncar instead

How to replace alternator for 1999 lincoln continental.


Disconnect the battery remove the fanbelt, Theirs a bracket on the top held with 10mm headed bolts, the wire loom for the plug wires can be pushed back enough with the bolts out thiers a cover on the motor that needs to be removed and set aside. theirs two 10 mm headed bolts in the bottom of the altenator that go fronm the front into the engine thier log remove them and the altenator is loose with it moving to the front some you can remove the wires and them the altenator

Replace reverse lights on 1998 lincoln continental and brake lights


reverse lights_ have a screw behind plate remove screws and pop out assembly..
third brake light_remove liner in trunk and bulbs pop right out
brake lights have to be complete;y diassembled from inside trunk

1990 Town Car cassette player don't work...


What year model is this. Cassettes were good in thier day but they were atrocious to keep working. You problably have a broken or stretched drive belt inside the player.

Rear airsuspension problems for a 2000 lincoln towncar.


Usually the suspension pumps get weak and start to draw high current causing the fuse to pop. The pump is just below the air cleaner. This can be a costly repair at a dealer. If you go online you can find places that sell refurbished items. Here is one http://www.suncoreindustries.com
