It could be lack of fuel pressure or a plugged catalytic converter. Most muffler shops will test exhaust back pressure for free.

My clutch peddle stays down on my 2004 chevy cavalier


had it happen to my car too. went to advanced autoparts and got a new master cylinder for the clutch ( not brake) and installed it as well as a new clutch kit since i was in there. as a short term, i bleed my clutch to get it home and that provided about 2 or 3 shifts before it lost pressure again. if you can't rev match or are uncomfortable with it have it towed to someplace to do the work or ur house and you can do it
