What you can do is tie up the yellow and red wire together, then get a wire and wrap it around them then you run the wire to the fuse box on the driver side and look for a the radio fuse..just warp it around the fuse and it should work...or you can also run the wore to the positive terminal of the battery so you can have power

Can i install cd deck in pontiac grand am without wire harness

That depends on several factors:
What CD Deck? Some can fit directly, others won't. Check the deck specifically to see it it will.
Do you want to hardwire the deck? If so, find wiring diagrams and install per both manufacturer's recommendations.

How do you change a starter for a 99 grand am se? Do you have any schematics that illustrate?

the starter is located on the front side of motor and is bolted to the transmission with two bolts. Raise the front of vehicle enough to get under and have room to work, block car securely before climbing under. disconnect the positive battery post from battery, proceed to remove starter and then remove wires from starter. to install hook wires to same locations they were removed from and install starter motor, install positive battery post connection and done.

How to change termostat for pontiac grand am 2001 motor 3.4 6 cilinder

Follow the upper radiator hose back to the engine block. There is a housing with 2 bolts in it. Remove them and the thermostat sits under there. Make sure to install the new thermostat in the correct direction and scrape off the old gasket and install a new one. Should be about 20-30 min job and you will lose some coolant. Make sure you add more when finished.

What are the 2 extra wires on the back of my 2001 delco radio

the purplr wire are data wires and are needed to hookup to the olds alero computer to allow it to turn on. these radios do not use acc. power wire to turn on. they get a data signal from the Body control module in the car it is installed originally. If you know what you are doing you can hookup up a BCM from a diiferent car and send the data from it to the radio. but takes alot of time and knowledge.
