ok, then the lock actuator is most likely seized, if you need instructions to repair, let me know, you have to get the part first, this will be a dealer item most likely. Then it's pretty simple. Remove the interior panel on the liftgate, you will see the latch and lock assembly, and a rod coming from it,the rod leads to the actuator. remove the rod, the retaining screws for the actuator, the electrical connector and then reverse for installation. Any issues let me know.

Any of these three causes may apply to your situation, specifically the malfunctioning of the 1) relay system, 2) switch motor, or 3) the switch/button itself. Here's a handy diagnostic article that explains this:

you may need to replace the power door actuator on that door give these websites a try www.autozone.com and www.alldatadiy.com if all fails stop by your local Dodge dealership in the parts department and they be able to print you off pictures and diagrams showing you how the door comes a part wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.
