Where is the horn located on a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus? Want to unplug it

If you want to kill the horn, just pull the fuse. My database doesn't give the horn location. It should be in the front end, somewhere.

Horn doesnt blow

if it happened all at once,,more then likely a fuse,,search the fuse box for the one for the horn,,replace with same amp as one removed.

Horn cigarette lighter use same fuse replaced fuse but neither work

Did you also check the BATT1 fuse in the engine compartment fuse relay center? You should have 12 volts through the BATT 1 fuse, the red wire connected to one end of the CIG FUSE, and the orange wire from the other end of that fuse to the cigarette lighter. If you lose 12 volts along that path, check for broken or burned wires.

Horn not working

use a test light see if horn getting power,if test light flash when you press horn pad, more likely horn could be bad or hot wire horn see if it works,if no horn need replacing,if test light dont blink when you press horn pad you have blowed fuse or bad horn relay,if both fuse and relay of the horn pad bad have replace whole horn pad with airbag in the steering wheel.

When driving, my horn on my 1999 Chrysler Cirrus blows randomly and will not stop until I hit repeatedly in the center of steering wheel. What can I do that is cheap and quick to stop this?

I have or should say had same issue on 1996 cirrus quick fix just remove the HORN RELAY located on the left side of dash relay only controls horn. To really solve the issue at hand you must replace the clock spring on the steering wheel dis-arm air bag before messing with steering wheel to avoid activation of air bag disconnect battery for 10 min then its safe to fiddle with steering wheel safely.

The horn suddenly started honking on its own. Then one night while we were gone, it bonkers non stop for 10 minutes. The next day when we turned the car on the horn would not work, the cigarette lighter...

You probably have a short in the horn switch circuit. At some point, the fuse in the lighter/horn circuit blew out. Replacing the fuse is the easy part; it's probably in the glove compartment or under the dash near the glove compartment. The hard part comes first - where is that short circuit? I'd look closely at the wiring coming out of the steering column under the dash for wires with cut or broken insulation. Also, check the wiring to the fuse box that has the horn relay inside (usually under the hood) - maybe a rodent has been chewing on the wires.

In the worst case, the problem is inside the steering column with an airbag waiting to go off like a bomb if you make a mistake while working on it.

Horn will not work. Where is the horn located?

Check the horn fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Check your wiring harness for loose wires and a bad wire. Test the current.
