Hi Noel, I'm glad to help! First, I'd like you to check under the hood on top of the transmission. Look at the shifter cable and see if it is missing the bushing that fits around it, if it is, then you can play with it back and forth while someone is watching the lights and see if it comes on. If it does you'll need to replace the cable. NOTE: This is assuming you have checked all the wiring and connectors all the way back to the bulbs. NOW: If that bushing is OK! Then the most likely cause could be the RANGE SWITCH. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Noel.

My drivers side backup light isn't working. I changed the bulb and it still doesn't work. Apparently there isn't a fuse for the backup light. Can anyone help?

If the other one is working then there is something wrong with the wireing between the two of them, or the connection in the light or the bulb contacts are dirty in the holder.

1991 Volvo 240 backup lights do not work

don't back up <giggle> ..there is a switch involved, is your trans automatic or manual?

If automatic, With engine off, foot on brake (duh) key in on position, observe the backup lights as you slowly move the shifter completely through it's range... Commonly, the switch needs adjustment.

91 corvette backup light do not work also 3rd brake light ,bulb&fuses are ok.

I had the same problem with a 91 mazda 626. turned out that the wires that ran from the lights along the trunk and back into the harness were broken from opening/closing the trunk. i would check around that area first.

S80 backup light wont work

There are only 2 things to check other than the bulbs, 1st the back up lite fuse, and the 2nd the back up light switch on the trans, if the fuse is ok replace the backup light switch.
