Question about 2000 Ford Contour

It probably does not have one. You have to drop the transmission pan with gasket. About 5 quarts of fluid or so will come out. You have to buy a new pan gasket. Do not reuse the old pan gasket.

follow the positive cable to the solenoid. disconnect the wires from all the posts but make sure you know which ones go where. the solenoid should only be 2 bolts to take it off.

its in the glove box of your car just have to push the orange button. lol just kidding there isn't one you have to take the take out completely remove fuel pump and turn tank upside down and drain where fuel pump goes in tank. its a job for the mechanically inclined. also a person could hotwire the fuel pump thru fuse box, disconnect fuel line under the hood and let the pump **** the tank dry
