This indicates a cracked head or a blown head gasket. have a compression test done to confirm if this is so.

With engine cold remove radiator cap. Start engine and look for bubbles in cooling fluid. Bubbles mean blown head gasket.

What would cause 2003 Kia Spectra to overheat after installing a new radiator

Universal Answer, probably an air bubble in the wrong spot - under the thermostat would be the worst outcome. Follow remove air bubble procedures, drill a hole in the thermostat so this cannot ever occur.

The quick fix. Unscrew radiator cap and leave off overnight - hopefully the radiator will 'burp'. Idle for a few mins with cap off. Then replace / cap on and see if this is fixed.

The pessimist. You recently bought this car secondhand. There is a gasket issue where exhaust gas is venting into the water gallery.
Fix will be head gasket repair gunk - but only as a last resort - if teh radiator guys detect c02/gas in the radiator fluid - they have a test kit for same

My 2000 chrysler voyager radiator fluid bubbles in radiator overflow tank evn when cold nd when turning over. I just had head gasket replaced whats going on

I suspect a crack in the head or block. The cooling system is suppose to be closed so any air has to be coming from somewhere - if the head gasket is good then the air is likely to be coming from a crack. A pressure test will confirm if your system is not air tight. That is if you are seeing bubbles in the radiator water if you just mean you are losing water through the overflow then it might just be the radiator cap needs replacing as it is not sealing the system when it gets hot.

Why is the cooling fluid overflowing after opening the radiator cap on 91 protoge

This sounds normal. The coolant and any trapped air bubbles in the system will expand as the engine warms up, and cause this to happen.
You ought to be very very careful about opening the radiator cap on a hot, or even warm, engine, as you can get a face-full of scalding hot coolant.
The normal place to add coolant if needed is to the radiator overflow tank, normally a plastic tank off to one side, connected to the radiator neck by a smaller hose. This will have 2 levels marked on it, Hot and Cold.
The radiator cap is not routinely removed, and on some cars is even locked on by an additional clip.

Ford_v10 oil in water resiviour. with the coolant cap off and engine running there are no bubbles what else could be wrong besides blown head gasket

You may not see bubbles depending on the radiator set up. There are kits that test for exhaust gases in the radiator. If that comes back negative check if you are losing oil or transmission fluid. Oil can be a cracked block which is bad. If it's transmission fluid it could just be the radiator. Transmission fluid is run through the radiator to cool it down. That's just replacing the radiator.

Low radiator fluid light came on, engine started to smell like burnt wire/oil? Turned off let it cool and than added fluid. Heater now not blowing out hot air. I am plannig on adding more fluid b/c light...

will try to help.let car cool all the way off 1st take radiator cap off, top off w fluid, start car w/ radiator cap off. let it get to operating temperature w/motor running, keep addind fluid, look under car for leaks the whole time please!! if at any time-- you see fluid coming out beyond what you may spill or overfill,,shut the car off!! you may only be low on radiator coolant.with the radiator cap off while filling, you should see the fluid moving[circulating] inside the radiator, bubbles moving downward,,ok spewing upwards out of radiator NO if this repairs good, replace cap and drive 10miles regular speed. no hot,,good,,if hot let cool copletely, check cooling fan relays under hood, black box, look for fan relays, when key is moved back from on to off,,relayshould tick, put your finger on it while someone turns key off to on,WILL NOT SHOCK YOU!! just a very small vibration to fingertip. if this good, with engine running, do engine fan come on to cool, look between radiator and engine,at the fans to insure it;s coming on. you really should be able to hear it, but i prefer to see it visually. AS ALWAYS,IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE OR HAVE MORE QUESTIONS,PLEASE REPOST YOUR QUESTION, AND AN EXPERT WILL HELP WITH PHONE OR ONLINE ASSISTANCE.

Water circleation problem and heater not working ive changed radiator and water pump and thermostat

It sound like you got a air pocket in the system when you changed all that stuff. some times there is a bleeder for that on the thermastate it self. if not you can do it with the radiator cap just loosen the cap and let it run when the antifreeze starts bubbling that means its pussing the air out youll have to put more fluid in it while your ding it to keep it filled when it stops bubbling put the cap back on and see if that did it. Hope this helps

1996 Acura 3.2TL Overheating Problem...

From your description of symtoms it sounds like you have a bad water pump. If the coolant is not circulating properly you will have a heating problem. Sometimes even a new thermostat can stick and cause the engine to overheat. I have seen them fail in as little as a week after they were installed.
