SOURCE: 1991 F-150 doesn't start when at operating temp.

Starter is going bad. I had the exact problem in my 1990 full-size Bronco. Replacing the starter solved the problem.

1991 Mazda Miata 1.6l timing belt broke.

You need to purchase a Haynes Manual or better. They are very common in your nearest chain part store. Like Autozone, Advance, Napa. More than likely you will have to set the crankshaft at TDC. "top dead center" and allign the two marks with the cam shaft! Watch when you put tension on the belt it will move the camshaft sprocket! And throw it back out of time.

Looking for timing marks for a 3.1

set the ff:
cranckshaft set the gear straight up = 12 o'clock (#1 piston must be at TDC)
camshaft set the gear straight down = 6 o'clock
to verify, the rotor of the distributor is pointing at #1 plug wire.

Need to know how to set camshaft position sensor on a 1999 4.0 litter

The camshaft position sensor MUST be set with a factory scan tool. Talk your nearest Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership service department. They will probably charge anywhere between $60-150 to set it with their scan tool.
