Window wont go up or down on my 1994 chevy pickup 1/2ton passenger window

I had a similar problem with my Chev pickup. Try going to a wreckers and pickup the switch to replace the one currently in your armrest or door panel. That was my issue. Otherwise it could be a wiring issue and that's a lot of work or a lot of repair$.

This would indicate the passenger window switch is fault!

This is not repairable,the regulator has to be replace as a unit,sorry,if this was helpful,please rate.

its very common for the contacts in the window switch to go bad no more than it cost to fix just get one and yes its common for the regulator and motor to go bad your problems in the switch

sounds like you may have a problem with your speed o gear in trans.

hi ken, by the way you describe it i would say the switch on the drivers door needs replacing hope this helps

If all the other windows work when the passenger window won't move (during the 5 min period), then the passenger side motor is bad. If the motor pulls too much amperage, the circuit breaker that is built into the motor will trip, until it cools down.
