SOURCE: 2006 Chevy Impala reduced engine power

best bet is to stop in at a Pep Boys, Autozone, or similar big autoparts seller, and ask for free trouble code scan, which should pinpoint area causing problem. If not obvious by codes, what is necessary to repair the problem code, get back to us with those codes and we will be glad to assist you further. Better this way, takes away the guess work, and saves you money, as well as getting it right the first time.

SOURCE: 1999 grand prix gt 3.8v 6 error codes 300 and 302

The PO300 code is random/multiple cylinder misfire detected. Sinsc you have the code PO302, that means that cylinder 2 is the one misfiring, usually a bad coil pack, or spark plug.

SOURCE: where is the fuel filter on a 2006 pontiac grand p...

Pontiac stopped installing the fuel filter on the rail in 2006. The 2004-2005 models had a fuel filter on the driver's side under the rear passenger seat area clipped to the frame. 2006 beyond the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump unit inside the tank.

SOURCE: hello. i have a 5002 grand prix.and tha message

hi some vehicles are fitted with what is known as a "limp home" system, this might be a fault with the transmission, and what it is doing is reducing the power so you do not cause any damage to the motor, this will have to be put on a diagnostic system to find out what is exactly wrong, but normally it is to do with the gear selector switch...hope this helps

I have a 2006 Grand Prix that the reduced engine power light came on in. Its been diagnosed as the accelerator pedal to be replaced. We've replaced it and still has the problem. Any ideas?

the throttle position sensor code, if it has been replaced the codes should have been erased at the time it was done, also make sure it is adjusted correctly.

Engine light caame on

You need to have the computer codes checked with a scanner. Aneything else would be a waste of time. Usally this pinpoints the problem or at least finds the problem area. You can get a cheap scanner at auto zone for about $50-75 dollars.
