I think rear end is slipping gears from transmission. Goes in gear but revs high to go to next gear.
It's not a rear end problem. It's a transmission problem. Check your transmission fluid level and condition. If it's low try adding fluid until its full and try driving. If that doesn't fix it take your car to a good transmission reapir shop.
