You change the lights by removing a bulb holder from the inside of the light, the lens does not come off.

How do I replace the rear blinker?

The lens needs to be removed. Look behind the trunk liner/carpet covering the access to the retainers holding the lens in place. Remove the retainers ( could be plastic wing nuts or actual nuts screwed to the tail light studs. ) There may be 3-5 holding the lens in place. Once retainers are removed the lens will pull away from the vehicle and the light socket can be twisted and removed from the lens assembly exposing the bulb

How do I change tag light

Open the trunk. Remove the fabric cover. Remove the ten or so nuts holding the rear lens assembly to the trunk lid. Remove the rear lense assembly from the trunk lid. There are six bulbs, part number 194, in this lense assembly. Two or the lisence plate and four for the tail lights. I would recommend replacing them all as long as you have it disassembled.

How to change the back lights or break light

You need to pull away the trim from the corners to get at the bulbs,to remove the lenses you will see either 4 or 6 nuts that hold the lens cover onto the body, this is held in place with mastic so once the nuts are off just pull away from one corner of the lens.

My tail light is out over the license plate on my 1993 buick park avenue. How do I get to it to change it?

There will be 6-10 retainers (sometimes they are 10mm nuts and sometimes they are plastic speed nuts) holding the whole lens assembly to the trunk lid. Once those are removed you will be able to remove the lens assembly and access the bulb. There are six bulbs all together, two for the license place and four tail lights (not including the reverse lights) and they are part number 194. I usually recommend replacing all six while you have the lens removed from the trunk.

How do u change a 1992 chevy corsica taillight

Most of these cars you have to remove the tail light lens to change the light....Pop your trunk and look for 3 or 4 black large plastic wing nuts. Unscrew these and your lens will come off of the car....Twist socket out of lens and replace bulb....

2005 maxima-how to change break lights

Removal and Installation
  1. Position trunk room trim aside.
  2. Disconnect rear combination lamp connector.
  3. Remove rear combination lamp mounting nuts.
  4. Pull rear combination lamp to remove from the vehicle.Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Once you have all the nuts removed you will need to pull hard on the lens. They use push clips on the outer side of the lens. As long as you apply an even amount of force you will not damage anything.

To change the taillight assembly open the trunk and pull the cover back on what ever side you need to change. You will see either wing nuts holding the taillight in or 10mm nuts holding the light in. Remove the bulbs and unbolt the taillight assembly and remove replace in reverse.

Rear lights

In the trunk you remove the light bulb housing. Once removed, there are 4 nuts inside the lens. remove these nuts and remove your lens. Install the clear lenses in reverse.

A nice look for a nice car.
