I would be thinking that there is a good chance that you need to be checking out replacing the computer, if you aren't getting any communication with the proper scan tool then the computer isn't communicating with anything in the vehicle...... I would have guessed first off that the ignition control module might be bad but that is obviously part of the computer also, I would be looking in that direction.

2004 1500 changed plugs wires fuel pump cam and crank sensor when star runs fine shut off and restart misfires shut back off runs fine does also did it intermittently also did vacuum test was good

What was the initial fault?
Why did you replace all these parts?
Have you had the car diagnostic system scanned?
If not, this must be done now because you may well have either reoccuring glitches or a faulty ecu.
Cheers

Ram 1500 intermittent misfires only when start then restart will run fine all new plugs wires 02 sensors cam crank sensors

check injectors are clean and firing correctly. Check fuel pressure is correct on start up. Fuel problems also cause misfiring.

2003 Buick 3800 engine 82,000 actual miles on it multiple/random misfire code How it started.. Car was running fine. Check engine light started flashing and engine started missing. What...

You can't rule anything out yet. It could be a plug or injector among other things, but probably not low fuel pressure. If you have a code 300 and nothing else, you may have to wait until the problem gets bad enough to set additional codes. And if any of the sensors fail, such as the cam or crank sensors, you'll get a code for those to be tested.
Have the plugs been checked or replaced in the past 30,000 miles ?

2.3l 2001 ford ranger rough idle and running rich and misfiring with p0301 code

You have to correct the cylinder misfires first

You may have vacuum leaks somewhere in the
intake or exhaust

You really need to look at data with a scan tool

You start with Mode $06 & cylinder misfire count ,if that
even works well on your motor

Then you look at fuel trim & add short & long together,
to get an idea if it is running rich, which would be a lean
condition from a vacuum leak or rich from leaking injectors

All the data is only good if you haven't cleared it or disconnected
the battery. If you did, then you have to drive until all I/M Monitors
run & then look at data

You look at O2 sensor data & even scope them

You made no mention of checking for codes
No mention of a cylinder leak down test for valve leaks
Exhaust Converter age or condition !
Fuel Pressure !

I would want to know what the fuel pressure is on the rail. Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator has failed, or the return line to the tank is blocked.

Have a 2003 Taurus, 3.0 engine that has a misfire on #2 cylinder. Replaced all spark plugs, wires, coil, replaced the fuel injectors, crank sensor, cam sensor, still have a misfire on #2 cylinder. It has...

What the miss there before you started replacing parts or did you replace some of them as maintenance items. Like the plugs. Possible that the parts store gave you one with a crack in it??? Also how about a vacuum leak at the intake gasket. You said you have compression. Have you tried checking running compression. A broken valve spring can cause good cranking compression, but cause no compression when it's running.

Truck shuts off

Could be idle air control valve, or mass air flow sensor, or a vacuum leak at the intake manifold or vacuum hoses.
