dear sir your head gasket is cracked leaking the 4agelc engine is known for the #2 cylnder head gasket to go if however this has been going on for some time antifreeze is dumping in to te crank case compromizing the bering journals the other stuff is not related ive owned these cars before threre fun as hell to drive bu money pits dont beat the car you may be able to get the head done if you can afford it over 2,500 the car will lope or hunt for a idle beacuse ani freeze going past the o2 sensor the ecu doesent know how to correct rich or lean

put a jumper wire between the bottom two pins in the plug for the throttle position sensor, if it idles down you need to replace the idle throttle position sensor

I Hope You All Appreciate This FAST and EASY Inexpensive Repair That Even The Toyota Dealers Dont Seem To Know How To Fix !!! The Problem Is The Air filter temp sensor. Look On The Left Side Of the Air Filter Housing and Disconnect The Plug Thats Attached To The Spark Plug Like Plastic Sensor Mounted on The Side Of the Air Filter Housing, Now Go Start Your Truck !!! Your Truck Will Start And RUN Fine Now ! Replace The Sensor Approx $59 at Autozone... This Should Fix 90% Of Your Problems If your In the other 10% and it does not Fix it , Email Me and Ill See If I Can Help ! in your carburetor there is a priming passage. look in there with the air cleaner out and pump the butterfly it should squirt gas. if it doesn't then you need to open the top part of the carb and clean the hole with a hair clip. if this is not the problem it will be the choke but I'm 70 percent that this is the problem.
