O6 Ave stalling

Hi James, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair

James, there is a lot of things that can cause stalling, anything from. EGR Valve sticking in the open position. Vacuum Leaks large enough to cause stalling problems. WIRING issue where wires are frayed and grounding on the engine are brackets somewhere. FUEL PUMP that after heats up shuts down. Throttle Position Sensor that's BAD. and much more.

James each and everyone of this things and more will need to be diagnosed to find the one thing that's causing you problem. The engine size, make, model would help a little but stalling issues are hard to find. ONE THING THOUGH:

James, I want you to try one thing tap the Idle Air Control Motor and see if the idle changes. Next, tap on the TPS and see if the idle changes. Next, tap on the EGR Valve and see if the idle changes. Next, wiggle all the engine wiring and see if the idle changes. I hope one of these will lead you to the problem. Car is stalling at idle, loss of power, and gas smell in vents when started

Throttle position sensor or mass air sensor, more than likely TPS sensor going bad and hasn't thrown code yet.

I have a 2002 mazda protege lx giving a P0300 code. scanner also says fuel system OL-fault, what do I need to look at?

Code 300 is for a random miss or loss of power which is tough to diagnose. Since you have replaced ignition parts, it could be an injector or fuel problem. Or a vac leak. Or a cam sensor, but usually a code would be set for the sensor too.

1996 jeep cherokee stalls, I've replaced the throttle position sensor, MAP sensor, and carbeurotor. What else could it be?

You replace sparkplugs, plug wire, tps, map, cap and rotor.Thats good,If the vehicle runs and you come to a stop and it stalls,That is the IAC (Idle air control) you say it ran fine for a week now its acting up, Service the IAC or get it replaced.

Car stalls after warm up, wont idle, surges from idle to highway speeds

Without knowing what car it is ...make. model and year this is a very vague question. A quick and dirty educated guess sounds like your timing has jumped ... if it's a timing belt, open the cover and check the timing marks ... or if it runs put on a timing light and look where the timing is ... sounds like it's firing after top dead center.

Before i spend money on a maf sensor i wanted to get a second opinion on my symptoms?

Check out a new coolant sensor. Some vehicles have 2 and one works the dash gauge and the other is needed for Engine management(Fuel mix, timing). Ask at Autozone or go to Advance, or Oreilys for a second scan.
The O2 sensors control how the engine runs. Sometimes they will self-clean, but if you have a bad indication, they should be changed. I usually work on Ford brands but this is pretty universal. The scanners should also tell you which O2 is bad out of the many you may have on your car.

Intermitently quiting at idle. also ocassionally surges when accelerating. happens more frequently when ac is on.

There to many reason why if you have an Idle problem. Here are some example.
1. You may have a vaccume leak.
2. misfiring (spark plug)
3. Sensors on the engine 02 or EGR valve sensor.or EGR valve.
4. manifold Intake leak
5. cloged trottle
6. coil or relay fuses.
7. fuel filter or fuel pump ( I hope is not the fuel pump) lol.
My best BET is use a high power clean GASOLINE for tree days and see if your Idle problem change, and if there is no change, GO to Autozone or any car parts dealers and kindly ask them to borrow there scanner to diagnose your car. Good Luck. Reginskie. :-)

4 runner surges when idling and once warm doesn't start

Something is riching or leaning this vehicle out at the wrong time. I'm gonna go with ERG valve being stuck in the open position. The only time this thing should work is at crusing speeds. Once the car has cooled down the fast idel cam takes over and prevent it from stalling. Once temp is within range idle cam stops and EGR is dumping into the mixture.
Use shop manual to do proper testing for the valve( probably a hand held vacuum pump is all you will need and gum out to free it up but you should properly replace it if it turns out to be the culprit.
