The Sunfire, Cavalier and Cobalt transmission should replace it and may be an easier find. Look on www.kijiji.com for good reasonable mechanic and or parts...

It is pretty straight forward. You need to drop the front portion of the exhaust, and remove the brace and torque converter dust shield. There is not a gasket. Just rtv. Honda bond works very well, about a 6mm bead all the way around.

Saturn uses a set of 2 shifter cables. The usual problem is that the plastic bushing that connects the cable to the shifter breaks and the cable comes loose. You can find a replacement bushing on eBay. If it isn't the bushing, the cable end which is plastic may have broken off the cable. In that case you will likely have to replace the cables. Cables are available on eBay for about $165 + shipping.

Just remove the console and check the cables at the bottom of the shifter. If it is a bushing, you can probably get a replacement bushing for less than $20. If iit is a broken cable end you can either try to repair it or replace the cable. I have repaired the cable ends on mine by drilling a small hole through the cable end and wrapping a little bailing wire around the broken end then used JBweld to keep the wore in place and it has lasted several years. Next time I will likely have to replace the cable.

It should be written on your compressor. But I do believe that the saturns switched pretty early. All the 93's I've seen so far have the 132a

My95 saturn wont move how do i remove my tranny and will a tranny from a 2000 fit

the first thing you need to do is figure out what engine you have. there are only two saturn engine blocks 91-99. one is a DOHC for you a SW2 and the other a SOHC for you a SW1. The transmissions for the two engines are different, common mistake you should not make, different final gear ratios. When you find that out call a junkyard and they have interchange numbers to tell you which year saturn transmissions will fit, probably a 95-98 will go in.

I need to recharge the AC in my 1995 Saturn but I am unable to determine whick conection to use . Directions say remove the blue cap but both are black?

You have a "High side" and a "Low Side" The low side is usually the bigger of the two and will be the cooler of the two. ALWAYS insert on the LOW SIDE ONLY!
