Question about 1995 Toyota Camry

My OEM wheels are too small want to give my 95 Camry a Lift

Hey everyone,

I have a 1995 Camry LE 4 cylinder with size 14 OEM steel wheels. My tires are really worn down and need to be replaced however at the same time I want to perhaps upgrade my wheel size to a 15 or 16 maybe. I'd like to know what is the biggest RIMs I can get within reason for my Camry. I had low profiles before but i hated how low my car felt. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

By the way I'm told to search for OEM alloys from a 2004 Avalon that they would fit nicely on my Camry.

HI frank, go to You can look up any tire and rim size that can be installed to your Camry with out any problems to your speedometer. If you do change the tire diameter, there is also a calculation for you to see how much the tire size will throw off the speedometer. Good luck and hope this helps. I'ld tell you the answer your looking for but this will give you more information then what i can give you. Keep me posted and save driving.

My car has 15" rims, it works nicely, hmmm I'd say 16" rims are probly about as high as you could go without needing lower profile tires and keeping the car's performance...

What size tires are recommended for 1991 le sabre ltd will p175/?r14 be too small? right now I have P205/75r14 on the front and p215/70r14 on the back

The 1991 Lesabre came with both 14 and 15 inch wheels and the recommended tire sizes are:

That said, tire sizes with different aspect ratio's are ok, as long as the front and back tires are the same brand, mixing different tread designs is a no no.

You probably need to get the tires balanced. One of the balancing weights may have come off.
Make sure the lugnuts are tight.

Go to and enter your truck in the site and then shop for wheels you can see your truck and get a good idea of what will fit and what size tires you will need.. on a stock 95 i know you can go all the way upto 26" rims with extremely low pro tires;

here look at this video and you can see even if you don't want rims this tall that they fit so your 100% not going to have any problems with 17" wheels and hey! Good luck!

Why does my 95 camry sound like it has a flat tire but doesn't have a flat tire?

You might have a broken belt in a tire. I would look at the tread, all the way around each wheel. If you have a broken belt, you'll see some distrotion in the pattern of the tread.

I would like to know the proper size tires that should be on my 95 toyota camry...when i bought it 2 years ago for $600. the tires that were on it are P205/65R15

The size of tire that the car came with is posted on the driver door jam along with other information about the car. Sometimes the sticker falls off from age and so the next place to find out this information is to call a dealership.

Correct tire size for the 1997 toyota camry le

That tire size is the OEM for that car. I think if you call or go to any tire store, they can check for you what optional size you can go up to.They can look up that car and see all choices.
