No, you will have to buy harness' and you probably have to buy different BCM for a liberty that had power seats!!! (BCM=Body Control Module)

I have a 1996 jeep grand cherokee and the power seats stopped working. The drivers seat works when connected straight to a battery so I know the motors and switches are good. The maxi-fuse under the hood...

Yes, there is, or yes, there are.
Usually fuses and circuit breakers for large capacity electrical components are found under the hood, not under the dash. Yours should be under a black plastic cover somewhere under the hood.
It should be labelled.
You might also have some bad wires or wiring harnesses causing this.
God bless your efforts.

What is the cable used for-- under drivers side seat in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport?

There are 3 cables under the driver's seat.
1) 1 (single wire) goes to the illumination light of the transfer case position plastic lense panel (underside) 2) 1 (single wire) goes to the seat belt harness for the seat belt warning light 3) 1 (multi-wire) goes to air bag sensor located directly under the seat.
Your welcome :-)

My power seats went out on my 91 model jeep Cherokee and I am having a hard time finding where to replace the fuse. Can I adjust the seat manually if need be??

Yes - but it is not very easy. You'll need to run a wire from your positive battery wire to the motor harness under the seat. Some harnesses have a red, blue,or green wire along with a black. Depending on which package your jeep has and which direction you want to move it depends on which wire you need to tap in to. You may also have luck if you remove the seat switch panel from the side of the seat and run your jumper to the corresponding terminal to move the seat. My 93 has bad switches and so I set my seat where I wanted it and unplugged the motor so nobody can move it accidentally.
Hope this helps and please rate my solution!!

My Jeep is a 1992 Limited Edition Cherokee and the power seats do not work. I have isolated the problem and need to run a new ground wire but I do not have drawings and do not know exactly where or how to...

Your best ground is the battery negative post. second best is the engine block. Run the new wire to either and you will have a good ground. You have located the ground wire in the seat harness?

How and where is the turn signal flashers located?

1999 Jeep Cherokee 4WD 4.0L MFI 6cyl
The Flasher is located in seating area, driver side, located in a wire harness connector which is secured to the diagnostics splice block bracket outboard of the steering column opening underneath the instrument panel.

Also, I suggest check the Service Manual for Jeep XJ Cherokee Electrical Section or the other section HERE

Hope helps with this (remember rated this) Good luck.

I have two trucks: a 2006 1500 without power seats and a 2003 with power seats. Can i put the power seat in the 2006? do the mounts match up? Is there electric already there?

The mounts will be the same however you may need to take part of the wire harness and switch it to the newer truck. Just make sure you follow the original hook up (maybe take some pix ) and just follow it back to the underside of the dash, this is providing that the wiring is not already there. Good luck, Dana

Replacing electric seats from a 1995 model into a 1997 facelift.

Technically, you can put any seat in any vehicle, as long as it dosen't interfere with anything. (door closing etc) As far as I know, most jeep seats interchange easily, At worst, you may need to drill a hole or two. Important part is before you begin, identify each wire in the harness, making sure that you know which one does what so if the harnesses don't match you can easily switch wires around. Write it down. Don't try to remember if you do great but if you forget, you can burn stuff out!!! If you need to cut wires, don't twist and tape...twist, solder then tape.
Good luck

Help, No Power to power seats

Under the seat there is a plug-in harness, dsisconnect it and see if ther is any power going to the harness, not the seat. then check your fuses under the hood, you should have only one there for your power seats. If that isn't the problem, then replace the motors in the seats.
