With all old fourbies, they get a bit suborn odd tires etcetera. In a straight line, drive forward a bit then reverse slowly (only a meter or two) while pulling on selection lever, should shift out easily.

Inconsistant idle

bad idle can be caused by 100 things, but for sure the ECU has lost control, we check all other things first then work dead idle last.
but the #1 cause of bad idle (you never said the low rpm hot?)
but EGR stuck open. is #1
other causes:
1; needs a tune up bad.
2: air fuel ratio bad, (bad fueling of any kind)
3: ECU stuck in limphome mode, is CEL glowing running? if yes, then pull the codes, better is a full scan now.

Range rover sport stuck in low ratio

Disconnect the ratio motor plug/socket on transfer box, apply 12v to the motor wires & it should motor back & forth from low to high. If it does, leave it in high, so at least you can drive it normally.
Plug it back in and remove the gearbox ECU from under the seat, check for damaged power transistors. Repair or replace.

2005 isuzu ascender my low beams headlights do not work at all my high beams do. i did not get a manual with this car what do I need to check. Thanks

First thing you need to check is the fuse, which should be under the hood. And then the bulbs. No... they didn't both burn out at the same time. They burnt out one at a time. You just don't notice iuntil the second one goes.

Check engine light on 2005 isuzu ascender, code PO128 is given...help!!

that code means that the coolant is cooler than it is supposed to be and it cannot be regulated...which means the thermostat is stuck open or broken,so replace the thermostat and that should solve your problem, hope this sheds a little light on it!

Differential

Good way to find out is to call the isuzu customer care line. If you have your owner's manual still you can look in the back for the phone number. Or you can google Isuzu and go to their website where you can contact them in several ways.
