Question about 1996 Honda Accord
It blows cold air before and after the heat of the day, (I live in Texas). During the day it just blows air, i have recharged the low pressure valve with about 30oz. of R-134a freon, before the recharge it wouldn't blow any cold air at all, i wanna now if its a leak or a sensor/switch or if it might be something more serious, I just need a list of troubleshooting items, thank you.
My 96 accord had the same prob. if you don't have a leak you need to make sure
of that first if no leak and not over charged ( my 96 accord holds 22.9 ounces of 134 )
anyway the fan on left side of motor was bad I replaced it and it works great.

If you've added almost 2lbs of refrigerant and are still losing refrigerant you most likely do have a leak. Try recharging again with the leak detector can of R-134A with UV dye in it. Invest in a refill hose that has a pressure gauge included to ensure you don't overfill the line (can be more hazardous than under fill). Best of luck to you.
