2006 jeep liberty battery light came on and steering is very hard to turn..

Did you check to see if the serpentine belt is tight or missing? The battery light comes on to tell ou there is a problem with the charging system. It does not come on when the battery is bad. Since the alternator and the power steeringpu p are run Blythe same belt it would make sense to check the belt to make sure it is there and tight and capable of turning these accessories.

02 F 150 back trun signal and brake lights not working

After checking the fuses, try with the steering wheel column tilted all the way up, There is a connector at the base of the steering wheel column, that the truck side of the harness can get tight on, and slowly pull the connector apart.
Behind the knee panel is this connector. Pull it apart, and check the pins for discoloration and make sure the connector tab lock still works ( most of the time, this is the 1st thing to brake ).
This is it repaired with some stove wire, zip ties can also be used.

Sounds like you have a broken belt for the alternator and power steering.

How do i fit a brake light switch on a VW Convertible Beetle 2005?

It's a very tight area beneath the steering column where the brake light switch mounts to the top portion of your brake pedal. First check to see if the 2005 New Beetles were included in the recall for faulty brake light switches. If so, have the dealer do the repair. If not, be prepared to scrape a few knuckles, it's very tight quarters down there. A doable repair for the mechanically inclined, but a very frustrating experience once the job is done.

1997 Oldsmobile Achieva No brake lights or signals, fuse keeps burning out No power running through wires to rear brake lights, but Headlights/running lights work. We think short is in the steering wheel...

The problem is the flasher selector below the steering wheel in the column. The main copper arm is not touching the 4-5 contacts due to fatigue.Bend it down, OR the unit is sloppy due to plastic hooks holding it being fatigued.(most likely issue)Drill a hole in from side nearest key to push the hook tight against selector.Use a bolt with a nut outside and inside, apply glue so nuts don't turn.

Unplug battery for at least an hour (overnight better)to discharge power to air bag(best left that way while working on steering wheel). 2 screws behind horn/airbag unscrew them pull panel off, disconnect air bag wire. Disconnect the horn wire. You will need 2 types of wheel pullers after you take off the centernut.(Rent from Autozone) Remember the order of uninstall.(Washers inside)

2003 Sorento - brake and battery lights on and no power steering when a/c on

Is the belt slipping. Brake light will come on with the battery light, Battery light and no power steering sound like the belt is not turning.
