Ok, I was able to get the radio code to work, but now there is no volume coming out of the speakers. Is it possible that there is a blown fuse in the stock radio? Any suggestions on how I can get the volume/speakers to work?

I have checked all of the adjustments to see if any of that was the problem and that was all the same. Do you think that disconnecting the battery again w/ the radio off and reconnecting the battery would work w/ the getting the sound to work?? Someone suggested that..LMK what you think.

I had the same problem with a Honda and I had to let the vehicle run for about an hour before it would let me enter the code. Give it a try. Next time your going to go somewhere that will take you about half an hour or so to get there, when you come home just let the car idle for about a half an hour and try entering the code then. Good luck.

I wouldn't think that a blown fuse in the stereo would make the speakers not work. Usually if the fuse blows the stereo power is dead. Are you getting no sound out of any of the speakers. I'm sure you have already checked the balance adjustments and the fader adjustments but if not adjust those and see if it helps. Also you don't have an amplifier hooked up do you . If you have an amplifier and the fuse blows on that, your stereo will power on normally and you won't get any sound from your speakers. One last thing if nothing yet has helped, most of the cars rear speakers wiring is accesible by opening the trunk and if so get a speaker from somebody if you don't have one , it can be out of an old telephone, those tiny computer speakers inside our computers that you can barely hear , you don't even have to worry if you hook it up correctly because if you hookit up backwards it will still work but not as good as if you hook it up corectly. You just want to see if there is as signal from the stereo to the speaker. Good luck and I hope something helps that I said.

I cannot find my owners manual of my 2004 Honda CRV and need to reset my radio. I have the reset code but need the instructions on how to reset it.

Method for all Honda/Acura vehicles except '03-'07 Accords with navigation system

1. The code is five digits, which will correspond to the radio station preset buttons that are numbered 1 through 6.
2. While the radio's display is showing COdE, punch each preset button once, IN THE ORDER GIVEN.
Example: Code is 62531. Hit the right-hand (6th) button first, then the 2nd from left, then the 5th from left, and so on.
3. If you have done the order correctly, the radio should start working after the last digit has been entered. If it does not, then you have made a mistake. You may try up to ten times (only three times on some models!), after which the radio will lock up and you need to then either disconnect the car's battery or wait one hour before trying again. If you disconnect the battery, disconnect both cables from the battery, then touch the cable ends together. Some radios have capacitors that will keep the memory alive for up to ten minutes. Touching the cable ends together will discharge the capacitors.
4. If you make a mistake in code entry part way through, CONTINUE entering ALL digits of the sequence of five, even if they are just random! You MUST finish the sequence of five in order for the radio to allow you to restart the sequence. or you can go to a honda dealer for instructions on how to reset radio. have a good day !!

Changing battery 2001 Lumina and radio lock up.

someone (hopefully you) set the 3 or 4 digit security code on the radio. when power is disconnected, like if someone steals your radio, the radio locks and cannot be used. the code can be from 000 to 1999. the hour and minute buttons are used to enter the numbers. 2000 choices - good luck
to unlock the system:
1 turn on ignition - LOC will appear
2 press MN and '000' will appear
3 press MN again until you see the last 2 digits of the code you want to try
4 press HR until you see the first 1 or 2 digit of the code you want to try
5 press AM FM
6 SEC will appear if you got it right - LOC will show if you got it wrong
good luck

Radio reset code for 1998 a4 audi

I had the exact same problem on my 1998 Audi A4 Quattro Sedan I just purchased. I read a couple of other posts that said to try looking for the radio code in the spare tire compartment in the trunk. Sure enough on the right hand side of the compartment was a information label and on it someone had written the code 1174 in pen. I then left the key in the ignition and the radio on for an hour. Then I pushed the DX and FM1/2 button and the same time until the "1000" number appeared on the display. Then I pushed in the code 1174 using the 1 - 4 tuner buttons. For example the number 1 key I pushed until the number 1 appeared. Then pushed button number 2 until the number 1 appeared, pushed button 3 until the number 7 appeared and button 4 until number 4 appeared. After I had the code 1174 on the display, you again push the DX and FM1/2 button at the same time and the radio unlocked and worked perfectly. I hope that this helps. I have the Delta (Bose) AM/FM Cassette radio in my car. Good Luck!!

The radio says loc

Press & hold the 2 & 3 buttons @ the same time for about 10 seconds;
A 2 or 3 digit code will appear, write this # down,
Press & hold the am/fm button for about 10 seconds:
Another code will appear, write this # down,
Then call 1-800-537-5140 and enter 202108 followed by the # key,
Then enter the #'s that you wrote down from your radio followed by the * key.

The call will give you a 3 or 4 digit override code. Write this code # down so you have it if you ever need it again. Enter this # into your radio following the instructions in your owners manual. If you get an override code that starts with 0, you drop the 0 when entering the code into your radio.
If you don't have an owners manual, try this, press & hold the hour button until the first 2 digits of your code come up, then press & hold the minute button until the last 2 digits show. Then press the am/fm button. This should reset your stereo. It did mine.
Hope you find this helpful.
