I have a 2010 subaru forester that i cannot refuel when check engine light is on

Although I have never encountered this issue on my own 2010 Forester, I would say that this may be a fuel system problem with a sensor or component. The place to resolve this is at a Subaru service department.

Engine hestitation, 2000 subaru forester

I think these codes are indicating a fault with your catalytic converter. The 02 sensors are each not returning the correct values to the ECM, causing a "suspect the 02 sensors" fault code.

Check engine light is on. What could be wrong? Have tightened gas cap and waiting, but it is still on after one trip. If it is not the gas cap, what could be wrong with the emissions? Subaru forester...

02 sensor =oxygen sensor or low fluid levels such as oil antifreeze or just routine maintenance as well ,if you inspect the motor area and find nothing wrong its most likely emissions again a sensor however merely disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect should turn the light off however the fact still remains that maintenance checkup should be in order as this is only a temporary fix as it will come on again until checked out { Auto-zone or Midas } will do a diagnostic check if the check engine light is on usually for free and tell you exactly what is the reason for it being on ..i hope this helps ...

2001 Forester, Rough idle and engine loping driving at low rpm

I had a similar problem on my 2002 Impreza RS 2.5 (same engine and engine control system). In my case it was the O2 sensor on the intake manifold. This happened at 34,xxx mi. so it was covered by the warranty. Replacing the part is very easy. (two bolts and a wiring harness). Obviously I would start simple and cheap and work your way to expensive and difficult.
From my understanding its all caused from the engine missfiring. If its been a while or never, I'd change the spark plugs first. (stick with the Subaru Parts plugs, I went after market and the dealer claimed the plugs were not the correct "temperature" and had to pay for the new plugs and install although they did it without my permition. Thats a whole nother story).
Could also be the manifold pressure sensor.
Either 02 or manifold pressure sensor may cause intermitent check engine light.
Where I live Brookline,MA , Autozone will run a free diagnostic on your car by hooking up to your ECU and will give you the trouble codes and possible remidies. Of course there are no guarentee's but it will point you in the right direction.
Good Luck
