It can be the issue with weak battery or faulty battery or if battery is ok,then its faulty starter causing the issue.

1996 Dodge Caravan wont crank if i turn the key to start i get noting all relays are new all fuses checked the message center does not do a bulb check stays off

I would start off by trying to jump start the vehicle. If it starts and runs normal, that tells you the starter and engine are okay, and the problem is in the charging system - battery, battery cables, alternator, relays, etc.

Now if it doesn't start, I would take the belt off and see if I could move the crank manual with a wrench. If it rotates (CW) then most likely your starter is bad.

1994 jeep, wont start, wont run

It sounds like you may have a bad connection somewhere. Start with your battery cables and then look at all of your ground wires as well. When you try to start your jeep see if the wires from the battery get hot.

The 1994 jeep grand cherokee with 4.0 cut off and will not start. it will turn over but makes no attempt at startig

could be a bad connection to battery, starter or even a bad alternator. get them all checked out. if its not any of those then start checking fuses.

My 1994 Jeep Cherokee Country - 6 cyl 4WD is clicking and not turning over. My battery is a few years old and I replaced the starter 2 years ago. I have been told that it may be the solenoid.....any...

First, do not assume anything. Check the battery with a volt meter and make sure there is 12.v or better there. Clean cable terminals where they contact the battery, check both ends of cables for good clean solid connection. Since you hear a click, that is good ...ignition switch etc is likely good. Check the voltage at the starter : large cable should have 12v, small wire should have 12v when key is turned to "start" position. If you have both, starter has failed. Some Jeeps have an additional starter relay inside the power distribution center near the battery. if you have voltage at the starter, the relay is good. If when you test battery, voltage is low, have it charged and load tested. If battery fails test, no other tests are valid.
Once started, check for running voltage of at least 12.9v with all accessories and lights on. At no time should voltage drop below 12.5, or should it continue to creep down. If it does, the alternator may be faulty.(providing belt is good and tight)

I have a 94 cherokee coutry w/inline 6. When I

First place to look is in the wires from the battery to the starter and the battery to the ground... got corrosion? this can really choke off the flow of electricity to the vehicle... check both ends of the starter cable and the ground from battery to frame (or block or trans) any kind of green or white deposits indicate it's time for new ones... this can be tricky because the corrosion can be inside the insulation on the wires... if corrosion is bad enough even a jump won't start the vehicle as not enough voltage will reach the coil... if the wires are good then it's time to check the coil and it's wiring... if you aren't real savvy at testing components with a meter then replace the coil (assuming good wiring) and test for spark by holding coil wire about 1/4inch from the block or any good ground while turning engine... you should see a nice blue spark... hope this helps...;-)

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Alternator issues?

have the alternator regulator and diodes tested. sometimes when the regulators fail they allow ac voltage to go to the battery. ac voltage doesn't charge the battery properly (causes it to deep cycle and shortens its life) and causes all sorts of funny problems with the car. also make sure the battery is secured properly, vibration isn't good for them at all.
