SOURCE: I own a 2000 chevy blazer with a 4.3 v6 vortec. It

did you check power and ground at the fuel pump connector?there should be power at two wires at the connector, one should have constant power with the key on and thats for your fuel gage, the other power wire should have it only when cranking or for about 3-5 seconds when the key is turned on,check both of those first and that will let you know that everything is fine all the way forward of that connector, also did u replace just the pump or the whole sending unit?if you just replaced the pump the connector that runs fron the sending unit to the actual pump itself inside the tank also goes bad on this setup too, look for brown or burn marks on the inside of the sending unit where this connector hooks uo,hope this helps

Got fuel? Sounds crazy but you'd be surprised how many times I have poured a gallon of gasoline into someones car to get it to start.

No start condition is the most frustrating problem. More information on what happens when you turn the key would help......but basicaly you need 4 things to make a car start. Fuel. Air. Spark. Timing. Fuel, Air, Spark and Timing are needed to start/run. Asked about fuel, but is the fuel getting to the cylinder? Do you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail(s)? When you turn the key to the "On" or "Run" position, do you hear a whining sound coming from the rear (fuel tank area)? That is your fuel pump priming the system. No sound? Check fuses and relays associated with the fuel system. Air. You need air to the cylinder to make it start and run. Check your air intake and filter. Really clogged and dirty filter? Pull it out and try to start. No go? Put it back (change ASAP) and look for Spark. Spark includes battery. Are there any loose connections to/from your battery? Really corroded terminals? Clean and tighten the connections. Try to start. No go? Pull the spark plug wire off an easily accessible spark plug (grasp the "boot" as close to the plug as possible and wiggle back and forth easily while pulling - these boots and wire connectors are fairly delicate). Remove the spark plug (be careful and dont break it or cross thread it when putting back in) and pop the wire back on it and set the plug on top of your engine (away from the spark plug hole). Have someone try to start the engine. You should see the spark plug fire its tiny bright blue spark. If not, you have found your problem. The problem is likely a bad coil, bad coil wire, distributor cap, rotor or a combination of these. If you have spark, then it has come down to timing. There are lots of things that affect timing in modern cars. There are a couple of sensors that jump out - Crankshaft and Camshaft position sensors. These will generally quit working while driving and you will likely notice the problem beforehand with it running really rough and getting crappy mileage, and the check engine light will come on and give you all kinds of hints. IF you turn the key and nothing happens, it might be a broken timing belt, but again, those usually fail under working conditions. It is possible (rare) the timing belt slipped/broke when you last shut off the engine, but I would point at the other 3 things first (Fuel, Air & Spark). Hope this helps. Good luck.

Aw, were you guys out spoofing around? Maybe moisture got into some ignition electrical connections. If it has a distributor, make sure that the inside of the distributor cap is dry. Check for a blue, snapping spark on a spark plug wire end to see if it is an ignition problem. If no spark, you will need to diagnose the ignition circuit or system.

My car wont start and i already put a new batterie and a new starter what else could be the problem?

With this tiny bit of info, it is really hard to tell. Will it fire? Will it even turn over? Is it getting fuel? Are the plugs in good shape? Are the plug wires in good shape? I would change the plugs, the plug wires, check to make sure your fuel pump is functioning, and change your fuel filter. Also, if you have an old style cap and rotor distributor, check the copper points. If they are corroded, you need to clean them. If you have a distributor block, you might need to replace a coil. Also, on late model Toyotas, inside the distributor cap, there is an ignition coil. My Toyota Camry 1992 died driving down the road. I changed the ignition coil and had to rotate the distributor cap and it finally started. All things mentioned could be the culprit. Trial and error, I'm afraid, is the best way to go. Start with the cheapest stuff and then progress forward.

Can you hear the fuel pump hum when you turn the key to on? If it will start on starting fluid, you definitely have a fuel problem. The pump being stuck or bad, or the filter being plugged, or vapor lock (try loosening the fuel cap, does it pull in air?)

Wont start.

If it will turn over check to see if its fuel or fire. To check for fuel, spray quick start for a few seconds into intake. If it starts and stops. its fuel. Change fuel filter and check fuel pump. If it does not start its fire, Could be distributor cap, rotor, coil, spark plug wires or spark plugs. If it does not turn over it could be battery or starter. Check battrey connections, ground strap from motor to body and ground wire from battery to motor and body.

Possible failure of either crankshaft or camshaft sensors. Have you run a scanner on your computer to see if it points to anything? Good luck!

I would be more suspicious of the fuel system. Have you changed the filters lately? Do you have a 6.2 or a 6.5?

Car wont turn over. The battery is fine it seem like not getting

The basic rule for a running vehicle is fuel,fire,air...this is the what mechanics look at if one of them is missing it will not run...so what you have to do is check if fuel is up to the engine by looking at the fuel line to the injector rails or carb either by loosening a line or pushing in that little bleed valve where the install pressure gauges if you are not familar with that you need someone who is. Next is the fire...a spark check needs to be done usually a spark tester or holding a plug wire to metal the correct way is witha tester as some vehicles can not be tested without one. Air..check the air filter and throttle body where the air goes too. This all is the basics without any of them it wont run and you need to find the cause of what is not working example : no fuel...check filter ,fuel lines and pump. example2: No spark..is coil, wires, timing ok...maybe a faulty crank sensor or computer.
