You have to tilt the engine towards the radiator to gain access. Just get a nylon ratcheting strap like you use for holding down luggage. Remove the wishbone style engine torque mount and install the strap, pulling very hard for maximum clearance to the rear plugs. I would highly recommend Bosch double platinum plugs so you won't have to go through this workout for another 100 thousand miles. It isn't easy even with the engine tilted so be patient but that's how it's done.

Try removing the air filter and air box on the driver side. Then see if you can reach the back side plugs out.

Can't reach #8 plug on 5.3 liter suburban

This is a engineered problem that noone wants to know about. It happens on a variety of cars and some makes are so aware of it that the plugs to the fire wall are very costly so they never need replacing while the ones to the front are cheapies. Unknown to most motorists when a tune up is done they are charged for all plugs but in fact only 1/2 are replaced. Back to you problem it may be necessary to support the engine tranny assembly whilre you remove the engine/tranny mount to lower the engine enough to get to the plug. To fix the problem put the expensive plug in this spot.

2002 escape 3.0 idle fluctuates and misfires when driving

No such thing as a tune-up

All you did was replace spark plugs which should be
done every 3 years

Oxygen Sensors get replaced at 100,000 miles which you
also did

You most likely have an intake gasket leak, smoke test
the entire Evap System & Engine

You also are have bad igniton coils

I do i get to the back 4 spark plugs in v-8 engine in a 1995 oldsmobile aurora

You must remove the engine "plenum cover", the "air vacumn chamber" (mounted on top of firewall--2 screws), the "coil packs" with the mounting bracket (just under the air chamber), and then you can access the rear plugs. Caution---you need to make up a long extension to use with your "plug socket". Make sure you fasten the socket to the extension by using "duck tape". If you separate the two pieces, with the socket down in the plug chamber---you will have a difficult time retrieving it. I have tuned my 1995 three times using the above method.

Just bought 2005 chrysler pacifica. need to know where oil plug is.what size wrench for oil plug.wher oil filter is . is there any special thing i need to know.

I recommend VERY Highly that you get the Haynes Repair manual on the vehicle. It will provide Step by step instructions for basic stuff like Oil Changes and Tune Ups and the intervals for these. As for you question. The oil Drain plug is located on teh oil pan at the bottom of the vehicle, The oil Filter is located on the Firewall side of the engine, and other than understanding how to properly install an oil Filter and to use the correct oil there isn't much to it. Oh, the oil drain plug should be a 13 or 14 mm.

Hvac blower motor not working after bringing car in for service, was working fine before mechanic did tune up, replaced starter and coil on 1993 gran am withQ4 engine

What is your question? It sounds like you have an old car that will need some repairs. What he did has nothing to do with the blower motor. Turn the switch on, and tap the motor. If it works, you need a new motor. If not, check fuses, switch and blower resistor.

Replace the spark plugs and filters. Not much there to do. But, it will take a while to change the spark plugs. You have to unplug and remove the coils one at a time and remove the plugs and re-install. Now 7 of them isn't too bad to do. The one that is going to take a while is the last one on the pass side rear next to firewall. Remove the fuel rails carefully. Remove the coil pack and you'll have to literally replace the plug by Braille. Use an extension with a 5/8 plug socket and "feel" for the plug and remove. I get it loose and use a magnate to remove the plug. Do the reverse for installation. This whole process will tak 4 hours or so.
