Code p0121 refers to throttle position (TP)switch A/ pedal position (AAP) switch A-range/performance problem===causes --accelerator cable adjustment--TP/APP switch
PO121 also refers to TP sensor A/ accelerator pedal position AAP switch A -range / performance problem===causes --accelerator cable adjustment. TP/AAP sensor --wiring
Cheapest first is to check the cable adjustment then the cheapest part after that .

SOURCE: 2001 mitsubishi galant,2.4L eng. Getting DTC 421.

DTC code P0421 is the O2 sensor that indicates a an issue with the Catalytic Converter. Replace the O2 sensor to the Catalytic Converter "the one after Converter" It's common for the sensor to fail and you can pick one up from Auto Zone and they will have the step by step instructions to replacing the O2 sensor.
DTC code P0302 Indicates a misfire on cylinder #2. Address the spark plug, spark plug wire, and injector. Look for any damages and try running some fuel injector cleaner through the fuel system to clean out the injectors.
Good luck and hope this helps.

I got diagnostic trouble codes P0108,P0121,P0340 what does it means and give me the remedial action for that

Here is what each of your trouble codes means:

DTC P0108 MAP Sensor Range check High
DTC P0121 TPS Circuit Range/Performance Problem
DTC P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
Do you know how long each of these codes have been stored? Each one of these codes relate to a different part of the vehicle.

Your PO108 codes is probably a faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor
PO121 is a Throttle Position Sensor malfunction code
PO340 is a Camshaft Position Sensor malfunction code

I would not think that all 3 of these codes all set at the same time, just wouldnt make sense unless there was a problem with the Engine Control Module (ECM) causing all these codes to set at the same time.

Ford Focus speeds up by itself, goes to hig RPM's while running.

when you say RUNNING i am assuming at idle.....possible AIR-BY-PASS valve MIGHT be a problem and won't turn on the "Check eng" light... if you didn't have any CODES from the computor i would focus on that....also check the air intake system for possible leaks and tears in the inlet hose, causing unmetered air to get in....its best to take it to a dealer/shop specializing in driveability issues to reduce excessive parts replacement.... let me know if your problems still persists....gl

Getting the following codes from a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am....... PO121 TPS / Pedal Position Sensor A CKT Range / Perf Also, PO341 Camshaft Position Sensor A - Bank 1 CKT Range/Perf. Any thoughts on the

po121 means that there is a problem with the throttle position sensor ( tps). or in the wiring or connector, most likely its the tps that is bad. first remove connection from tps, heres how to test. use an ohms meter and hook a lead to top or bottom terminal of tps. use other probe on center terminal of tps. move throttle plate slowly, if the needle on meter does not move at a smooth pace, then tps is bad. good-luck!!
