Question about 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE

Tach does not work, and instrament panel is lit up like its x-mas

Most of the lights on my dash panel are lit up and my Tach, and temp gauge do not work. I'm thinking it has something to do with some relays but can't find any info on them, even in the repair books, HELP!

No relays involve. Ck yor coil connection for the tac and engine to body ground at back of engine. good luck. The ground on indtruments is critical.

The gas gauge, temp light, speedometer, tach and all those in that panel do not work. The ABS light also comes on...used to hit the dash and it would start working...now that is not working anymore!!!

look under the dash for a screw or bolt with a lot of the same colored wires (black, brown, etc) going to it, this is the common ground point for the cluster(s). loosen it, then tighten it back down and that should fix ya.
